
Beijing, July 23 – In an unprecedented move, the Dalian Naval Academy and the Naval Aviation University of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) recently carried out a joint ship-aircraft coordination exercise under both daytime and nighttime combat scenarios.
The operation marks the first time two PLA naval academies have conducted integrated training focused on real combat tactics.
During the activity, the Dalian Naval Academy deployed multiple vessels, while the Naval Aviation University utilized various types of shipborne helicopters.

The forces operated in coordination across a series of tactical operations, including combat search and rescue (CSAR), target identification, and strategic position designation.
According to the exercise command, the ships and aircraft conducted simultaneous missions under challenging maritime conditions, demonstrating a high degree of integration and efficiency.
